1. What this page covers
This page explains the main data inputs and calculation approach behind QuantFNO's open interest, change in open interest, put-call ratio, gamma exposure and strategy tools. It is intended to make the origin and treatment of displayed values easier to understand.
2. Data sources
The platform uses market data delivered through its configured market-data service. Coverage includes NSE index and stock options, with BSE data used where a tool supports SENSEX. The source service may aggregate exchange information and can revise or correct values after delivery.
3. Refresh and availability
Data is requested when a page loads and may refresh while the page is open, depending on the tool and source response. Values may be delayed, unavailable during exchange closures or affected by network and upstream service interruptions.
4. Calculations and indicators
QuantFNO derives displayed metrics from the received contracts, prices, volume and open-interest fields. Ratios, changes, exposures and scenario outputs are calculated by the application and rounded for display. Small differences can occur because of rounding, timestamp differences or later source corrections.
5. Important limitations
Displayed information is provided for analysis and education, not as a guarantee of accuracy, completeness or execution. It should not be used as the sole basis for a trading or investment decision. Always verify important values with an authoritative exchange or broker source.
6. Reporting a data issue
If a value looks incorrect, contact us with the page URL, instrument, expiry or dataset, displayed timestamp and a screenshot where possible. Do not include broker credentials, trading passwords, OTPs or other sensitive financial information.
